Ngorongoro Oldeani Mountain Lodge is an adventurer’s haven! Just 9km from the Ngorongoro Crater, with comfy rooms and great food. Staff arranged thrilling game drives and biking tours. Stunning views, cozy fire pit, and warm service make it a top pick for safari lovers!

I have no words to describe how luxurious the grounds of this lodge are. This place is stunning. Do not hesitate to book here, reserve now if you want the height of luxury in this particular area. They also have the best location for the most beautiful African sunset. The room was emaculate, grand, and exactly as pictured. The buffet dinner and breakfast buffet had so much variety. You could not ask for more. The lunch wasn’t buffet but the options given were satisfying. The staff were very hospitable, especially the dining room staff. Special shoutout to the F&B director, and the hostess who was in training. Their names slip me but they really made our stay there special. My only complaint is that I did not spend more days here. 10/10

Die Zimmer und die Lodge sind sehr schön. Leider hatten wir aber kein sehr schönes Erlebnis. Da die Klimaanlage nicht heizen konnte (weil die Fernbedienung die falsche war), wollten wir ein Kaminfeuer bestellen. Nach dem Abendessen sind wir zurück ins Zimmer und wollten uns am Kaminfeuer erfreuen. Leider war das Feuer bereits abgebrannt und das ganze Zimmer war voller Rauch. Am Ende stellte sich heraus, dass der Kamin verstopft war. Der Rauchmelder im Zimmer hat offenkundig nicht funktioniert! Wir mussten dann mit offenem Fenster in einem stinkenden Zimmer verbringen! Am nächsten morgen haben wir uns bei der Rezeption beschwert, welche bis am Abend das Zimmer gereinigt haben. Der Hotelmanager hat sich zwar bei uns entschuldigt, von Herzen kam diese aber nich wie wir empfunden haben.

Hospitality was amazing… the staff very attentive especially Maxon really looked after our whole family. We were celebrating some big birthdays and made sure the family celebrated in style.. rooms were great with with attentive service which makes all the difference.. we did not have to look far or bar waiter Innocent who looked after us throughout the day with drinks service while enjoying the live artists would recommend.

Amazing stay. Room was very spacious and clean. We had a perfect stay. The food at dinner and breakfast was great with a large variety of food. I am vegan and I had plenty to eat.

Ngorongoro Oldeani Mountain Lodge was incredible. The accommodations were beautiful and the staff was hospitable. It was the perfect lodge to come back to after a full day out at safari. We scheduled a private dinner and tribal dancing show that was out of this world amazing... My mouth hurt from smiling and laughing. I highly recommend it. I wanted to give a special mention to Jennifer, the manager and Anthony, the supervisor. They could not be more professional and hospitable and gave such a nice, personal touch. Additionally, the chef was outstanding! Thank you!!! And of course main event of the trip, the safari, could not have been better without Denis, our driver guide. He made sure everything surpassed our expectations. This was an unforgettable trip. I HIGHLY recommend booking him for as your guide. You won't find a more knowledgeable driver. He will go the extra mile to ensure you have the most amazing trip.

Beautiful spot by the crater with luxurious cottages including AC, soaking tub, inside & outside showers, deck and comfortable beds. Excellent dinner, gorgeous grounds and pool. It was a relaxing highlight after a long travel day and game drive in the crater.
